Thanks to local bassist Doug Hamilton, Hot Spot Music is excited to welcome The BuffaloGals to Northfield for the final performance of their US tour. Based in Southwestern England, the Buffalo Gals are highly-regarded interpreters of Old Time music, early Bluegrass, blues and rags, ballads, spirituals, Cajun and gospel music.

The Buffalo Gals represent a revival of the old string band tradition in its most vibrant form, with their live shows uniquely punctuated by traditional Appalachian step-dance that has become one of their trademarks. Over the last decade and a half, the Gals have become a mainstay of American roots music in the UK. Here's some video featuring the Buffalo Gals in action.
