Hot Spot Music, LLC was established in 2015 as a place to incubate the creative seeds of local music and musicians. We host shows, lessons, classes, workshops and open jam sessions with a perfect mix of inspiration and inclusiveness. We strive for a low-pressure environment where musicians of all ages, instruments, genres and abilities can develop their skills, find community and engage in multiple ways to improve their craft. Hot Spot Music's resident banjo instructor, Helen Forsythe, hosts a lightly facilitated bluegrass and old time jam (all instruments welcome, but banjos guaranteed)
Every third Monday, our awesome house band sets up drums, guitar, bass and vocals. Just swing by, sign up for a song and a role (instrument and/or vocals), and join in!
