MUSIC STUDIO RATES:
Includes exclusive use of Music Studio (incl. music stands, piano, amps, and chairs) plus shared access to Lobby, Lounge, and Kitchen / Restroom. Use of event space for occasional recitals, concerts, etc. included. Onsite storage negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
- 1 - 9 hrs / week = $10 per hour
- 10 - 19 hrs / week = $8 per hour
- 20+ hrs / week = $6 per hour
EVENT SPACE RATES:
Includes exclusive use of Lounge / Event Space for the event and Music Studio as greenroom / reception area. BYOB allowed.
- $50 per event for up to six hours (or FREE for monthly renters).
- Includes room set-up and tear-down. Does not include ticketing or any other event staffing.
- Additional fees may apply if additional services are needed.
- Special situations (e.g. full weekend rental or non-profit orgs.) negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Hot Spot Music's resident banjo instructor, Helen Forsythe, hosts a lightly facilitated bluegrass and old time jam (all instruments welcome, but banjos guaranteed)

Marimba Nova is a trio made up of Jenny Klukken on marimba, Robert Everest on vocals and guitar, and Andrew Turpening on drums. With its unique instrumentation, this ensemble extends the boundaries of Brazilian music by embracing new sounds from the marimba. In fact, “Marimba Nova” translates in Portuguese to “New Marimba”. $10 at the door.
